New Lexus GS 350 GS 2013/Lexus
Introducing the next step in the evolution of design from Lexus, Lexus specific including a new “axis” the grid, the new GS will display:
3.5-liter V6 motivation 306 hp translates into a 0-60 time of just 5.7 seconds.
- A refined and aggressive stance, which reflects the behavior of the order of accuracy and superior driving dynamics.
- Interior luxury appointments including LED ambient lighting, three different types of wood trim contrast stitching and meticulously detailed.
- Rear and four-wheel drive is configured.
- The first application of the new generation Lexus Inform with Safety Connect multimedia system that provides access (via smart phones) applications such as Bing, Open Table, MovieTickets.com, Pandora Internet Radio, iheartradio, Facebook and Yelp, along with the SMS text-to-speech, audio and DVD video support, HD Radio with iTunes tagging, and a trial subscription for three months Sirius Satellite Radio.
Then later, in 2012, will bring the hybrid Lexus GS 450h in the market. The GS 450h will be the power pack V8, with a combined total of 338 horsepower, however, still expected to deliver EPA ratings of 29 mpg city/34 mpg highway/31 combined.
And almost as impressive as the car it will be Lexus’ efforts to support its launch. The new GS will be the focal point of the super bowl commercial Lexus’ Super, while the division is also the debut of the car heat up sales by becoming the official partner of the automotive marketing swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated.
“The launch of the all-new Lexus GS is so great that nothing less than the Super Bowl and the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated do it justice,” said Mark Templin, Lexus group vice president and general manager. “We will also support the launch with a strong presence in all media, including a visit to Consumer performance, to encourage practical experience with the 2013 Lexus GS.
